Heard Mr. Indrajit Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.C to Sr. S.C.-I. In this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondent Nos. 2 to 7 to immediately provide police protection for the property of the petitioner situated at Khata No.574, Plot Nos. 2049, 2050 (Revisional Survey Year 1964) and Khata No.256, Plot No.451 (Recent Survey year 1979), Mouza Pardih, District East Singhbhum, having an area of 0.84 acres of land. Further direction has been sought for restraining the respondent Nos. 8 and 9 and their agents and servants for obstructing and disturbing the peaceful possession of the petitioner over the said pieces of land. Submission has been advanced by Mr. Indrajit Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner that the peaceful possession of the petitioner in the
property, in question is being disturbed by the respondent Nos. 8 and 9, for which, the petitioner had approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, East Singhbhum at Jamshedpur by filing a representation, but the same has not been acted upon.
In view of the fact that the petitioner has already approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jamshedpur (respondent No.6), this writ application stands disposed of, with the liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent No.6, detailing his grievances in the said representation and if such representation is preferred within a period of two weeks, the respondent No.6 shall act upon the same and ensure that the peaceful possession is restored in connection with the property in question, which as per the learned counsel for the petitioner is being sought to be disturbed by respondent Nos. 8 and 9.
