The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is against the action of the respondents in not passing orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 04-11-2025 submitted to the respondent No.2. 3. The petitioner contends that, as a resident of D.No.16-2-70, 26th Ward, Narsapuram, West Godavari District, he submitted a representation to Respondent No.2 on 04-11-2025. It is contended that the existing road in front of his house gets waterlogged during the rainy season and is also prone to the proliferation and breeding of mosquitoes.
Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed a representation for laying proper roads. Despite the said representation dated 04-11-2025, the respondents have not passed any orders on the same. 3
4. When the matter has been taken up for consideration today, the learned standing counsel for the respondent No.2/Municipality has placed before the Court a copy of remarks received by him in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that, it appears that the respondent No.2 – Commissioner, Narsapur Municipality, did not taken up the above mentioned work due to lack of funds. It is further submitted that, upon release of the requisite funds by the Government, necessary action would be taken, at the earliest. 5. Having regard to the contentions advanced, the Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the respondent No.2/Municipality to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of the order, after giving sufficient opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending miscellaneous applications shall stand closed. ______________________________ JUSTICE KIRANMAYEE MANDAVA Dated: 08-09-2026 MSI
