No.332 of 2025 arising out of Devipur P.S. Case No. 88 of 2025 pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IX, Deoghar. The daughter of the informant was done to death at her matrimonial house by her husband and in-laws as per the allegations made in the First Information Report. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no overt act alleged against the petitioner, who happens to be the husband of the deceased and the post-mortem report indicates the cause of death as Asphyxia due to hanging, but regard being had to the fact that there was a demand of Rs.2,00,000/- and a Splendor motorcycle made immediately prior to the incident, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is hereby rejected.
