UKHC010137822026 2026:UHC:6861 SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS CLCON/465/2026 Reeta Sehgal --Petitioner Versus Mahendra Singh --Respondent Hon’ble Pankaj Purohit, J. Mr. Suresh Chandra Bhatt and Mr. Gaurav Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner alleges willful and deliberate non compliance of this Court’s order dated 27.06.2025 passed in WPMS No. 1706 of 2025, Reeta Sehgal Vs. State of Uttarakhand and another, whereby the Court had stayed the effect and operation of the order dated 16.12.2024 passed by the Board of Revenue, Circuit Court, Nainital in Revision No. 11 of 2023-24. 3. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the order could not be extended on 16.03.2026 by this Court which resulted into making an application by the contemnor before the Board of Revenue, Circuit Court, Nainital that the order passed by the Writ Court UKHC010137822026 2026:UHC:6861 has been vacated. It was not a vacation of order, rather the order could not be extended. 4. In the opinion of this Court it appears to be a bona fide mistake on the part of the contemnor to make such an application before the Board of Revenue. By any stretch of imagination it cannot be said to be contempt of this Court’s order. 5. Thus, no contempt is made out. 6. Accordingly contempt petition is dismissed.
