GP FOR HOME 2 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE MAHESWARA RAO KUNCHEAM WRIT PETITION NO: 12211 of 2026 The Court made the following Order: Instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “to issue a Writ order or direction one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare the action of the Respondent No.4 in not taking action against the representation dated 06/04/2026 and consequently direct the respondent N0.4 to register the FIR at Tiruvuru Police Station, NTR District, as illegal, arbitrary, violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and direct the respondent No.4 to register FIR and Pass”. 2. Conspectus of facts in the present Writ Petition is that, despite the petitioner’s complaint to the police personnel, the respondent police are not acting upon the same by registering an FIR, thereby lodging criminal proceedings 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on the Written Instructions dated 06.05.2026 of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Tiruvuru Police Station, NRT District, submits that basing on the petitioner's complaint, police registered FIR in 3 Crime No.74 of 2026 of Tiruvuru Police Station, NRT Commissionerate District and the investigation is going on. 4. At that juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the factum of registration of FIR. 5. Recording the submission made by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
