And In the matter of : Liton Miah ……Petitioner. Mr. Satadru Lahiri Mr. Dipanjan Ghosh ……for the Petitioner. Ms. Madhumita Basak ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there are no materials appearing against the present petitioner and he has been detained in connection with the instant case for about 60 days. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that investigation of the case is in progress and the alleged recovery in the present case is 296.26 Kgs. of Ganja. It has additionally been submitted that there are Call Data Records and the investigating agency is working on issues relating to supply of materials which is the principal allegation so far as the present petitioner is concerned. 2 Learned advocate for the petitioner lastly submits that the petitioner is suffering from Cancer. If, for treatment or any medical assistance, any application is filed before the learned Special Court, learned Special Court would take appropriate steps in disposing of the same. With the aforesaid observations CRM (NDPS) 680 of 2026 is rejected at this stage. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
