GP FOR HOME The Court made the following ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of the respondents, particularly Respondents No.2 to 5, in not considering the representation dated 08-09-2025 submitted by the petitioner to the 2nd Respondent and in not providing necessary police protection to safeguard the life and liberty of the petitioner and her minor son from the illegal acts, threats and harassment of the 5th respondent, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the said representation and to provide adequate and effective police protection to the petitioner and her minor son….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Mr. Venkata Durga Rao Anantha, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 08.09.2025 to the respondent Nos.2 to 5 for providing necessary police protection to safe guard the life and liberty of the petitioner and her minor son from the illegal acts of the respondent No.5. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that based on the representation dated 08.09.2025 submitted by the petitioner, the respondent police conducted an enquiry and admonished respondent No.5 not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner and not to commit any unlawful acts. 3 5. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case and recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Nos.3 and 4 to pass appropriate orders/directions/instructions on the representation dated 08.09.2025 submitted by the petitioner within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of receipt of this Order. 6.
