SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures UKHC010078762026 2026:UHC:7087 COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS BA1/784/2026 Deepanshu Belwal --Applicant Versus State Of Uttarakhand --Respondent Hon'ble Rakesh Thapliyal, J. Mr. R.S. Sammal, learned Senior counsel assisted by Ms. Sarita Bisht, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, learned AGA for the State. 3. Present applicant Deepanshu Belwal, S/o Narayan Dutt is praying for bail in reference to first information report dated 06.02.2025 bearing FIR No.0008 of 2025, P.S. Chorgaliya, District Nainital wherein the present applicant is charge sheeted for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC. 4. It is argued by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated and the allegations levelled are purely civil in nature and instead of availing a civil remedy, the informant lodged the FIR. He further submits that present applicant is languishing in jail since 25.03.2026 and he has no criminal antecedents and the charge sheet has already been filed and his mother is also charge sheeted, who has been granted interim bail in an anticipatory bail application. 5. On the other hand Mr. Pratiroop Pandey, learned AGA has not disputed that the applicant has no previous criminal history and in this particular case the charge sheet has already been filed. 6. After hearing the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration that charge sheet has already been filed and the present applicant is languishing in jail since 25.03.2026, this Court is of the view that applicant deserves for bail. 7. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, the bail application is allowed. 8. Let the present applicant-Deepanshu Belwal be released on bail on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
