The petitioner is an accused in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 92 of 2025. It has been alleged that the petitioner despite having solemnised marriage with the daughter of the informant had an illicit relationship with one Priyanka Kumari and when the daughter of the informant had seen them in a compromising position, she was strangulated by the petitioner and his paramour. The wife of the petitioner at the time of occurrence was carrying a pregnancy of 4 months. Though, it has been submitted that no external injuries have been found on the person of the deceased and the petitioner is in custody since 19.06.2025, but regard being had to the specific nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner who being the husband has committed the murder of his wife, I am not inclined to admit him on bail.
