Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard M. R. Adhikari, learned CGC appearing for the respondents. By way of this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has challenged the impugned suspension order dated 03.11.2023 and the subsequent orders extending the period of suspension. During the pendency of the present writ petition, the Directorate General, CRPF, Ministry of Home Affairs, by order dated 28.03.2025, upon review and on the recommendation of the Suspension Review Committee, revoked the suspension of the petitioner with immediate effect. It has been mentioned in the aforesaid order that the period of suspension with effect from 03.11.2023 till the date of revocation shall be regularized in accordance with the applicable rules after finalization of the departmental enquiry. Page No.# 3/4 The order dated 28.03.2025 reads as under: “No. Dix-29/2073-CRC DIRECTORATE GENERAL: CRPF (Ministry of Home Affairs) Block No. 1, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi- 03 Dated, the 28/3/2025 ORDER WHEREAS, an order placing Shri G. Kumar, Commandant (IRLA-4460), NE Zone HOS, CRPI, under suspension was made vide P/Order dated 03- 11-2023. 2. AND WHEREAS, the suspension period was subsequently reviewed and the Competent Authority, considering the recommendation of Suspension Review Committee, extended the suspension period for another 180 days w.e.f 26-01-2025 vide P/Order dated 20-01-2025. 3. AND WHEREAS, the suspension order was subsequently reviewed by the Suspension Review Committee on 06-03-2075 and the President, considering the recommendation of the Suspension Review Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred under Clause (c) of sub-rule (5) of Rule 10 of CCS(CA) Rules, 1965 approved to revoke the said suspension order with immediate effect. 4. NOW, THEREFORE, the said order of suspension in respect of Shri G. Kumar, Commandant (IRLA-4460) is hereby revoked with immediate effect. The period of suspension w.e.f 03-11-2073 till the date of revocation will be regularized as per rules, after finalization of DI.. Upon hearing the parties appearing for the parties and having perused the impugned revocation order of the suspension which being the subject matter of challenge in the present writ petition, it appears that nothing survives for adjudication in the matter.
