The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the order being passed by the Assistant Commissioner, Ramanagara Sub-Division at Annexure - B dated 21.03.2025 directing the Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records jointly, no action has been taken by respondent No.1 - Tahsildar, Magadi Taluk. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the Tahsildar has commenced the process and has requested the Assistant Commissioner to give his thumb approval for further action. 4. This Court has noticed in W.P.No.2720/2026 dated 10.02.2026 that in the matter of transfer of katha, the time stipulated in the Karnataka Sakaala Services Act, 2011 have to be scrupulously followed. It is noticed that the time prescribed for such action is only sixty [60] days. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:16777 WP No. 1129 of 2026 5. In that view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 - Tahsildar, Magadi Taluk to proceed to enter the name of the petitioner along with the other persons in whose favour an order has already been passed by the Assistant Commissioner as found at Annexure - B in the revenue records as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six [6] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) is levied on respondent No.1 - Tahsildar, Magadi Taluk payable to the petitioner.
