The petitioner is an accused in connection with NDPS Case No. 103 of 2024 arising out of Tamar P.S. Case No. 76 of 2024. Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected in B. A. No. 9226 of 2024. It appears from the allegation that 41.8 kg. of Poppy straw and 16.6 kg. of Poppy husk were recovered from the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and is in custody since 25.07.2024. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner XVII, Ranchi in connection with NDPS Case No. 103 of 2024 arising out of Tamar P.S.
