Petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) to direct the respondents to grant arrears of salary to the petitioner No. 1 to 8, 10, 13 to 19, 21 to 24 and 26 to 37 as per order dated 20.09.2021 along with consequential benefits within stipulated time period. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ(s)/order(s) to direct the respondents to grant arrears of salary to the petitioner no. 9, 11, 12 and 25 as per order dated 19.05.2022 along with consequential benefits within stipulated time period. 10.3 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writs(s)/ order(s)/direction(s) to direct the respondents to grant arrears of salary to the petitioner No. 20 and 38 as per order dated 09.11.2022 along with consequential benefits within stipulated time period. 10.4 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) to direct the respondents to grant interest @ 12% per annum on the undisputed and unpaid arrears of salary to the petitioners 10.5 Cost of the petition. 10.6 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper, may also kindly be granted to the petitioners, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners are holding posts of work charged contingency paid Class-IV employee. Pursuant to the order of Collector, it was ordered that petitioners are entitled for regular pay scale as per orders dated 20.09.2021, 19.05.2022 and 09.11.2022 respectively. Though the regular pay scale is being paid to petitioners, however, arrears of 5 / 5 the pay has not been disbursed till date. Petitioners have submitted representation for release of undisputed arrears of salary on 17.08.2023 and 22.11.2023 and therefore direction be issued to the authorities to take decision on the representations at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned State counsel submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, she is having no objection. However, she submits that as per documents enclosed along with writ petition, last representation submitted by petitioners was about 2 ½ years ago. 4. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised, this writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioners to submit fresh comprehensive representation raising their grievance before Respondent No. 6 and in the event petitioners submit representation, Respondent No. 6 shall consider and take decision on the representation of petitioners, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 04 months from the date of receipt of representation to be submitted by petitioners. 5.
