Petitioner has raised a grievance that he has filed a recovery suit way back on 19.07.2023 based on dishonor of cheque, wherein respondent-defendant, despite service of notice, set ex parte and plaintiff’s evidence has concluded, yet the trial Court has not proceed further to hear and decide the suit finally since
10.09.2024. The relevant order-sheets have been placed on record.
2. Having heard counsel for petitioner, without entering into merits/demerits of the civil suit, instant writ petition stands
disposed of with observation/direction that if the suit is pending at the stage of hearing final arguments since 10.09.2024, it is expected that the trial Court shall hear and decide the suit

3. Stay application and other pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
