The only relief sought in the present batch of four Writ Petitions is for direction to the Standing Screening Committee to decide the candidature of the Petitioners, who have been selected for the post of Constable(GD)/Sub-Inspector (Fire) in Central Industrial Security Force („CISF‟). 2. The appointments of the Petitioners have been kept in abeyance in order to verify their antecedents, mostly on account of pendency or decision in criminal cases.
