J.) 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The petitioner is an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering at Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Tehcnology, Dwarahat, District Almora. At the time of his entry in service, he was at Level-10. On 08.11.2016, he was placed at Level-11. The case of the petitioner is that as per AICTE Regulations, 2010 regarding Career Advancement Scheme, he became entitled to Level-12 upon completion of five years of service. It is also the case of the petitioner that even as per AICTE Regulations, 2019, he is entitled to Level-12 after four years as he fulfills the other 1 UKHC010148532026 2026:UHC:7558-DB academic requirements stipulated in 2019 Regulations. However, the Institute has been deliberately delaying the process of grant of Level-12. 3. Shri Parikshit Saini, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is not pressing prayer nos.1 to 4. He submits that respondents be directed to conclude the process for promotion to Level-12 and Level-13 within a specified time frame. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents do not oppose the said prayer and state that the process would be completed in accordance with law within such time as may be directed by this Court. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent Institute to conclude the process of promotion to Level-12 and Level-13 as per Career Advancement Scheme in accordance with law within three months from today.
