Also heard Mr. B Sharma, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State respondent. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/applicants, who are apprehending arrest in connection with North Lakhimpur Police Station Case No. 180 of 2026 arising out of Khelmati Town Outpost GD Entry No. 221/2026 registered u/s 303(2)/3(5) BNS, 2023 read with Sections 13(1) of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 read with Sections 11(1) (a) (d) (c) of the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals Act, 1960. 3. The learned APP submits that Charge Sheet in the instant case has already been filed vide Charge Sheet No. 203/2026 dated 17.07.2026. 4. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel appearing for the accused/applicants submits that liberty should be given to them to approach the jurisdictional court. 5. In view of the aforesaid submission, the instant AB application is disposed of with a liberty to the accused/applicants to approach the jurisdictional court for appropriate relief, if so advised. Till then, it is provided that the interim pre-arrest bail, granted to the accused/applicants by this Court vide order dated 22.06.2025, shall remain extended for another 15 (fifteen) days from today and during that time the accused/applicants shall appear the jurisdictional court. 7.
