This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 and 484 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as the petitioner is in custody in connection with Katkamsandi P.S. Case No. 196 of 2025, for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 317(5), 3(5) of B.N.S. and under Sections 21(b), 22(b) of N.D.P.S. Act. which is pending in the Court Learned Principal District & Sessions Judge-Cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribag. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State. 3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner has criminal antecedents. 4. The allegation against the petitioner is that 29 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the joint possession of petitioner and others. 6. Considering the fact that there is recovery of brown sugar from the joint possession of this petitioner and others and the petitioner has also got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to release this petitioner on bail. 7.
