By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- (i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the learned Civil Judge (J.D.), Haridwar to expedite and conclude the learned First Additional Civil Judge (J.D.)/J.M., Haridwar to expedite and conclude the proceedings of O.S. No. 565/2023, Talaram Gautam Vs. Sureshpal, pending in the Court of the learned First Additional Civil Judge (J.D.)/J.M., Haridwar, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon’ble High Court. 3. Having regard to the fact that the suit was filed in 2023, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the court concerned to make endeavour to decide the suit at an early date. It is made clear that unnecessary adjournment to the parties should be avoided.
