The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Pithoria P.S. Case No. 125 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) and 109 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the altercation took place only because information has been provided by the informant to the police that the petitioner was involved in the business of selling of cattle. He further submits that now a good sense has been prevailed between the parties and the petitioner and the informant have compromised the matter. He next submits that co-accused persons in identical situation, have already been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No.1775 of 2026. He also submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 12 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that altercation took place due to intimation made by the informant to the police. 5. Considering that the informant has informed the police about the smuggling of cattle and for that the altercation took place and now the compromise has taken place between the petitioner and the informant and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 12 of the petition and the co-accused persons in identical situation, have already been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No.1775 of 2026 and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
