ORAL JUDGMENT
(PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN)
We have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.
2. It is submitted that the matter is settled through Mediation and a compromise petition dated 15.04.2026 has been placed on record.
3. It is submitted that Managing Director is duly authorized. It is further submitted that the signatories have obtained the authority from the Board of Directors to file this compromise petition and to compromise this appeal.
4. The compromise petition reads as follows:-
"4. Appellants have offered to pay Rs. 25 Lakh towards full and final settlement of the entire claim of the Respondent as per the decree and the Respondent has agreed to receive a sum of Rs.25 lakhs towards full and final settlement of the decretal amount passed in O.S. No.4680/2016.
5. The Appellants have agreed that a sum of Rs.25 lakhs deposited by them on the file of this Hon'ble Court, along with accrued interest, may be paid to the Respondent

towards full and final settlement of the entire decretal claim. The Respondent has no objection to disposing of the above appeal to the extent of Rs.25 lakhs along with accrued interest, available in the deposit and give up all claims against the Appellants.
6. The Respondent most respectfully submits that they have no other claims as against appellant herein whatsoever in any form."
5. The compromise petition is accepted
6. The parties are present before the Court and are identified by their respective counsels.
7. In the above view of the matter, the Regular First Appeal stands disposed of in terms of the compromise petition entered into between the parties.
8. The Registry shall draw up a decree in terms of the compromise and the eligible Court fee shall be refunded to the appellants on proper identification.
9. The amount of interest deposited before this Court shall be released in favor of the respondent in terms of the compromise settlement entered into between the parties.

All pending interlocutory applications shall stand disposed of.
