In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following relief/s: “i. Issue a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondents No.2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.01.2025 vide Annexure-E, and to regularise the services of the petitioner from the date of completion of 10 years of service and also to grant him the pay scale attached to the post of Group C from the date of his appointment or at least from the date they completed 10 years of service as revised from time to time and to pay him the arrears of salary, increment and other service benefits on par with regular employees OR consider the case of the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9402 WP No. 30744 of 2025 petitioner for Permanent employee of the respondents; ii. Pass any other Order as this Hon'ble Court deems fit, in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. The case of the petitioner is that he was initially appointed as a Driver at the Central Mechanical Organization under the agency of Water Resources Department in the year 2006. Thereafter, his services were attached to KNNL with effect from 01.03.2013. Since the petitioner has completed more than ten years of service on a contract basis, he submitted a representation dated 29.01.2025 vide Annexure-E seeking regularization of his services. So far, the representation of the petitioner has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 29.01.2025 vide Annexure-E seeking regularization of his services. Accordingly, I pass the following order: a) The writ petition is disposed of. b) Respondent No.2 is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2025 vide Annexure-E, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from date of receipt of copy of this order.
