No. 02/2025, an application for disposal of the matter. 2. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the present appeal has been filed against the order dated 31.07.2025 passed by the learned 2nd District Judge, Balod (C.G.) in Civil Appeal No. 05A/2024, whereby the application preferred by the plaintiff under Order 39 Rules 1 & 2 of the Code of Civil Procedure has been rejected. It is further submitted that in the present appeal, by order dated 14.08.2025, interim protection was granted and the parties were directed to maintain status quo in respect of the suit property till the next date of hearing. It is also submitted that the civil suit 3 has now reached the stage of evidence; therefore, the present appeal may be disposed of with a direction for expeditious disposal of the civil suit. It is further prayed that the interim protection granted by order dated 14.08.2025 be continued till final disposal of the civil suit. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to the submissions made by learned counsel for the appellant. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record, particularly the order dated 14.08.2025 whereby the parties were directed to maintain status quo in respect of the suit property. 5. Considering the fact that the civil suit has already reached the stage of evidence, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present appeal with a direction to the concerned trial Court to decide the civil suit expeditiously, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6. It is further directed that the interim protection granted by this Court vide order dated 14.08.2025 shall continue to remain in operation till the final disposal of the civil suit. 7. Accordingly, the present appeal stands disposed of along with I.A. No. 02/2025. 8. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
