The writ petition is filed with the following prayers: "a) issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus, or any other writ or order or direction, directing the Respondents not to allow locating of the Shaneshwara Temple in the 8 lane corridor premises in terms of the sketch enclosed to this Writ Petition indicating the work where excavation is undertaken to be done for location of Shaneshwara Temple; b) for a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, or order or direction, directing the Respondents to provide sufficient measures to see that the Shaneshwara Temple is not located in the 8 lane corridor premises; c) allow the cost of the Petition." 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to filing of the writ petition, the temple has already been constructed. Under the circumstances, he submits that the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous reserving liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedies before the appropriate forum. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14372 WP No. 50203 of 2019 3. For the aforementioned reason, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. 4.
