According to them, both the petitioners are married to two brothers, who are impleaded as respondent nos. 5 & 6, who are resident of Gandhi Nagar, Haldwani, District Nainital. 4. According to the petitioners, their husband and in-laws are not only harassing, but, also have extended threat to their life and also life of their other family members. It is further alleged that even though complaint was made to the police authorities concerned, but no action is being taken. 5. Learned State Counsel assures that if petitioners approach the SHO concerned, he shall assess the threat to the life of the petitioners and take necessary steps. 2026:UHC:317-DB 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the SHO, Police Station Banbhulpura, by making a representation. If petitioners make representation within 24 hours, SHO concerned shall make assessment of threat perception to the petitioners and take necessary measures to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners or their family members. 7.
