Dubey, APP …...... 02 /23.03.2026: This bail application has been filed by the petitioner under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 12(1), 12(2) and 12(3) of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005 and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail. 4. The allegation against the petitioner is that he was transporting 5 bovine animals in a Innova car for sale purchase, slaughter and flesh processing process. 5. The petitioner is in custody since 07.01.2026. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer 2026:JHHC:8013 2 for bail of the petitioner in connection with Mango PS Case No. 3 of 2026, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur stands rejected. 7. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed. 8. The petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for grant of bail, after framing of the charge.
