1. Issue notice. The learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent Nos.1 to 4 to act on the representations made by the petitioner and take appropriate steps.
3. The petitioner states that on 01.04.2015, he had filed an application seeking grant of a quarry lease for quarrying building stones from land measuring 2 acres and 10 guntas falling in Survey No.192, Madahalli Village, Gundulpet Taluk, Kasaba Hobli, Chamarajanagara District. However, the said application was not considered and the petitioner filed a writ petition, being W.P No.24224/2023 (GM-MM-S). The said petition was allowed by an
order dated 08.11.2023 directing the jurisdictional authority to take a decision in respect to the petitioner's application within a period of eight weeks.
4. The petitioner states that he also made a representation dated 18.11.2023. Thereafter, a joint survey was conducted on 16.02.2024 and a report was submitted to the concerned Tahsildar. The Tahsildar, in turn, by his letter dated 28.02.2024 submitted an NOC to the Assistant Commissioner, Kollegala Sub-Division for grant of the quarry licence. Based on the same, the Assistant Commissioner submitted his NOC dated
24.05.2024.

Notwithstanding the same, the petitioner's application continues to remain pending. The petitioner also states that in the meanwhile, the Senior Geologist sought NOC from the Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Chamarajanagara, District, which was also granted on 12.12.2024.
5. The learned Government Advocate submits that if the petitioner's application has not been considered as yet, it shall be done within a period of four weeks from date and the decision will be communicated to the petitioner.
6. The respondents are bound down to the said statement.
7. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
