This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, claiming the following direction: “to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a writ of mandamus declaring the impugned action of the 4th respondent herein in issuing Lr.No.AE/0/Ymg/F.No./D.No.497/16 dated 2.01.2016 stating that necessary approvals may be furnished on or before 4.1.2016 otherwise the service will be disconnected without further notice is arbitrary illegal capricious high handed violative of Articles 14 19 1 g 21 and the guarantee under Article 300A of the Constitution of India apart from being in violation of the statutory provisions of the Electricity Act and the Rules made there under apart from being in violation of the principles of natural justice and fair play and consequently direct the 4th respondent herein to continue the power supply to the premises bearing Door Nos.2/143 and 144 of Uppar Street Yemmiganur Kurnool District without disconnecting the same in any manner whatsoever”. 2. Heard Sri B. Sita Rama Raju, learned counsel appeared on virtual mode on behalf of Sri T.S.Anand, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents has furnished written instructions dated 11.09.2026 issued by the Assistant Engineer Operation Section, APSPDCL, Yemmiganur, wherein it is stated that the claim of the petitioner for restoration of service connection has been complied with and that the service connection has since been restored and is presently in force. 4. Therefore, in view of the restoration of power supply to the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. 4 5. Accordingly, writ petition is closed. No costs. 6.
