GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following order: Heard Ms. Pooja, learned counsel representing Sri P.Sai Surya Teja, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Divya Teja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents 1 to 7. The notice in respect of respondents 8 and 9 is dispensed with since no adverse order has been passed affecting their interest. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 4th respondent is attempting to alter the entries in the revenue records in respect of Ac.0.42 cents in R.S.No.422/2A and Ac.2.53 cents in R.S.No.422/1, Tummugudem Village, Chatrai Mandal, Eluru District, without following the procedure contemplated under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbook Act, 1971, and the Rules made thereunder. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner and possessor of an extent of Ac.0.42 cents in R.S.No.422/2A and Ac.2.53 cents in R.S.No.422/1, Tummugudem Village, Chatrai Mandal, Eluru District. The petitioner acquired Ac.2.53 cents in R.S.No.422/1 under two registered documents, vide Registered Sale Deed Document No.1501 of 2013 dated 30.03.2013 for an extent of Ac.1.26 cents and Registered Gift Deed Document No.863 of 2011 dated 01.03.2011 for an extent of Ac.1.27 cents. The petitioner made an F-Line Application seeking to measure the land and demarcate the boundaries. Pursuant to the said application, the endorsement dated 16.06.2026 (Ex.P3) was issued. Learned counsel would submit that no survey was conducted. Taking advantage of Ex.P3, the 4th respondent is attempting to change the entries in the revenue records. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, would submit that the 4th respondent is not attempting to change the entries unilaterally in respect of the aforementioned lands. The 4th respondent will adhere to the procedure contemplated under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbook Act, 1971, and the Rules made thereunder. 5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, inviting a counter and keeping the writ petition may not serve any purpose, and hence, the writ petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission, with the consent of learned counsel appearing on either side, directing the 4th respondent to adhere to the procedure contemplated under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbook Act, 1971, and the Rules made thereunder, if any application is made regarding the updation of the Record of Rights in respect of the aforementioned land. There shall be no order as to costs.
