02/ 27.04.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Ramna P.S. Case No. 59/2025, registered under sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 351(2), 351(3), 352 of the BNS, 2023, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Nagar Untari, Garhwa.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has not assaulted the informant and injury is said to be simple in nature and in that view of the matter the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that assault was made by this petitioner with knife upon the informant due to which the finger of right hand of the informant was cut and separated from her body.

Looking into contents of F.I.R, it transpires that there is direct allegation of assault against this petitioner with knife upon the informant due to which the finger of right hand of the informant was cut and separated from her body.
6. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected.
