Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2. Communication dated 9th April, 2026 of Inspector-in- Charge, Panskura Police Station, Purba Medinipur is filed by the learned advocate representing the State respondents and same is taken on record. 3. Learned advocate for the petitioner has voiced certain grievances relating to investigation being conducted in connection with Panskura P.S. Case No.955 of 2025 dated 19th October, 2025 initiated under Section 305 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Prayer is made for giving direction upon the Investigating Agency to take necessary steps in connection with the continuing investigation. 4. Mr. Shahi, learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State respondents has opposed this writ petition and it is submitted that petitioner is not the [2] complainant in the aforesaid criminal prosecution. It is submitted that complaint was lodged by one Saheb Mallik which was transformed into FIR and aforesaid criminal prosecution was initiated. 5. Subsequently, on conclusion of investigation charge- sheet being no.1053 of 2025 dated 30th November, 2025 was submitted before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 6. From the submissions made on behalf of the respective parties, it appears that petitioner is not the complainant. Therefore, petitioner is not supposed to express grievance relating to manner of investigation in connection with Panskura P.S. Case No.955 of 2025 dated 19th October, 2025. 7. Moreover, it is also not disclosed in this writ petition that petitioner is not the defacto complainant. 8. In view of aforesaid scenario, writ petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 9. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for be given to the parties upon usual undertakings. (SAUGATA BHATTACHARYYA, J.)
