Mr. Naitik Bhatt, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Suyash Pant, Standing Counsel, for the State. Mr. Lalit Miglani, Advocate, for the Nagar Nigam. (2) According to petitioner, he owns two buildings, which are known as Bhajan Ashram-2 and Bhajan Ashram-3, and said buildings are in dilapidated condition. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “I. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent authorities to undertake a coordinated exercise for demolition of Bhajan Ashram No. 2 and Bhajan Ashram No. 3 by the tenants/occupants, in accordance with law and with appropriate assistance from the District Administration and Police authorities. II. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent authorities that the Petitioner shall not be held responsible for any future untoward incident, accident or casualty from the continued occupation of the subject premises by the tenants/occupants who have refused to vacate despite due notice, so long as the Petitioner continues to cooperate with the authorities in accordance with law.” UKHC010149822026 2026:UHC:7675 (3) This Court cannot grant the relief as claimed by petitioner. Writ petition is, however, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to approach the District Magistrate concerned by making an application. If he makes such application within three weeks, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within nine months thereafter. (4) It goes without saying that all persons, who have right, title or interest in the premises shall also be heard before taking any decision.
