GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: 4 ORDER:- Heard Sri Devasri Roshan Kancharla, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.2 and 3. 2. Challenging the action of the respondents in withholding the payments of Rs.25,33,363/- due to the petitioner for the works executed by the petitioner, the instant writ petition is filed. 3. When the matter has been taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos.2 and 3 has placed before the Court a copy of the instructions received by him in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that the net amount payable to the petitioner is admitted as Rs.25,33,363/-. However, the bills were not uploaded in CFMS due to paucity of Municipal General Funds and the same would be uploaded in seriatim after accumulation of sufficient funds. 4. Having regard to the above, as the sum of Rs.25,33,363/- is admitted to be payable to the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to remit the admitted amount of Rs.25,33,363/- to the petitioner within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
