Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits the subject matter of case relates to alleged recovery of 21.930 kgs. of ganja and the petitioner is a woman being in custody for 162 days. Learned advocate submits charge-sheet has been filed before the jurisdictional Special Court and the petitioner may be released on bail. 2. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. 3. Having considered the quantum of seizure, period of detention and the time which would be consumed for taking the trial to its logical conclusion, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 4. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner, namely, Soma Dey Roy shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/- 2 (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Judge, 3rd Special Court under NDPS Act, Burdwan. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned trial court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of the district of Purba Bardhaman, without the prior permission of the learned special court. 5. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 641 of 2026 is allowed. 6. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 7.
