CORAM : MEHROZ K. PATHAN, J. DATE : 21/09/2026 1. The respondent/wife had filed an application for withdrawal of maintenance amount deposited by the applicant/husband. The revision application came to be disposed of vide order dated 22.09.2025. However, during the pendency of the application, the applicant/husband appears to have deposited the aforesaid amount towards arrears of maintenance. The respondent/wife has prayed for withdrawal of the same. Ms. Riya Mundhada, holding for Mr. Katkar, learned counsel for the applicant/husband has no objection for withdrawal of the aforesaid amount. Since the criminal revision application stands disposed of, I see no impediment in allowing the application for withdrawal of amount. Hence, I am inclined to pass the following order :- ORDER (a) The application for withdrawal of amount is allowed. 2026:BHC-NAG:12503 2 18.appr.249.2026.odt (b) The respondent/wife is permitted to withdraw the amount of Rs.2,50,000/- deposited by the applicant/husband.
