HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.25122 of 2026 ORDER :
The Present Writ Petition is filed seeking restraining the Respondent Nos.1 & 2 from proceeding with or adjudicating upon the representation dated 24.08.2026 bearing PGRS No.GNT202608249153 submitted by the Respondent No.2.
2. The Respondent No.3 was appointed as Transportation Supervisor in the Petitioner’s institution on 29.07.2025. Subsequently, the said individual had left the institution due to domestic issues and had sought for Relieving Letter. As the same has not been furnished, a grievance was raised under PGRS on 24.08.2026. Pursuant thereto, the Respondent No.2 issued the impugned Proceedings to the petitioner seeking for remarks on the above representation. Questioning the same, the present writ petition is filed on the ground that the Respondent No.2 does not have the jurisdiction to initiate the impugned proceedings.
3. Heard the learned counsels.
4. The issue with regard to the lack of jurisdiction by the Respondent No.2 could also be raised before the Respondent authority as well rather than in this Writ Petition.
5. Therefore, the present writ petition is disposed of with the following directions: i) The petitioner shall be at liberty to give its objections on the impugned Notice including the issue of jurisdiction to the Respondent No.2.
3
ii) Upon receipt of the objections, the Respondent No. 2 shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders.
iii) There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
