The present writ petition has been filed against a Cooperative Society. In view of the provisions of Article 12 of the Constitution of India, a Cooperative Society does not fall within the ambit of “State”; thus, the writ petition is not maintainable. 2. Accordingly, this Court is of the considered opinion that the present petition is not maintainable and the same is hereby dismissed. 3.
