Learned counsel for petitioner submits that mother of petitioner passed away on 06.05.2026 and funeral has already been performed. But now, petitioner has to carry out certain rituals for three days from 17.05.2026 onwards. Learned counsel on behalf of ASC accepts notice and submits that in view of status report [Annexure-A (colly)], State has no serious objection to grant of parole as the petitioner has already spent more than 11 years in jail and his conduct has been satisfactory. 4. Considering the above circumstances, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on emergency parole for a period of 10 days, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. 5. Copy of this order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent with the directions to disclose to the petitioner in writing against acknowledgement the specific date when he shall have to surrender after completing the parole period.
