The grievance of the petitioners is directed against refusal to consider the prayer for higher scale of pay. 2. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioners are entitled to higher scale of pay in view of their B.Ed. qualifications. On this basis it is alleged that they are entitled to ‘A’ category scale of pay. 3. On behalf of the State authorities, it is submitted that the concerned authority being the District Inspector of Schools, Primary Education has not been impleaded as a party respondent. Nevertheless, the matter should be referred to the concerned District Inspector of Schools, Primary Education. 2 4. In view of the submission made on behalf of the respondents, WPA/563/2026 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate applications in accordance with law before the concerned District Inspector of Schools, Primary Education. 5. It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all questions (including the question of entitlement) would be adjudicated upon by the concerned District Inspector of Schools, Primary Education if any such application is filed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of filing the same before the District Inspector of Schools, Primary Education.
