Mr. Gaurav Raj, AC to AAG-II appearing on behalf of the opposite parties, refers to the order as contained in memo no. 4046 dated 05.12.2025 passed by the Secretary-cum-Chairman, Caste Scrutiny Committee, Department of Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, Minority and Backward Class Welfare, Government of Jharkhand and submits that the petitioner’s claim for issuance of caste certificate of ‘Gond’ community (ST) has been considered and the same has been rejected. 3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, this Court 2026:JHHC:1202 2 is of the view that no case of contempt is made out against the opposite parties. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite parties is hereby dropped. 4. The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of. 5. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to take appropriate recourse as permissible under law against the order passed by the Caste Scrutiny Committee. (Rajesh Shankar, J.)
