The petitioner was an employee under the Howrah Municipal Corporation and since retired on 31st October, 2019. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has not been given the benefit of the pay revision in terms of ROPA 2016. Though the petitioner had made a representation, such representation according to the petitioner has not been considered. 2. Noting that the petitioner is a pensioner, I am of the view that instead of retaining the petition on the file it would only be appropriate to permit the petitioner to make a composite representation before the authorities. If such composite representation is made within a period of four weeks from date, the Municipal authority shall decide upon the same upon giving an opportunity 2 of hearing to the petitioner and if it is found that any amount is due and payable to the petitioner on account of the pay revision, such arrears shall be disbursed in his favour within a period of six weeks from the date of passing such order. 3. Accordingly, WPA 3169 of 2024 stands disposed of. (Raja Basu Chowdhury, J)
