The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Lalpur P.S. Case No.236/2025 dated 07.09.2025, registered for the offence under Sections 111, 292, 293, 318(4), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 4, 5, 7 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, pending in the Court of the learned J.M.F.C.-XXXII at Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has nothing to do with the allegation of human trafficking. He further submits that the petitioner is having girls’ hostel and so far as the allegation of human trafficking, if any, is concerned, that is against Mohammad Mojibul Rehman and Bina Devi. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioner. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioner in connivance with Mohammad Mojibul Rehman and Bina Devi was indulged in such human trafficking. He next submits that modus operandi was adopted by Mohammad Mojibul Rehman and he used to bring the girls and keep them in the hostel of the petitioner and the petitioner ( 2026:JHHC:13328 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 667 of 2026 has instructed the warden of the hostel not to interrupt any girls in going outside and coming inside of the hostel. He also submits that in paras 83 and 84 of the case diary, it has come that the petitioner was found to be interacted through mobile with Mohammad Mojibul Rehman. 5. In view of the above submission of the learned counsel for the parties and looking into the contents of the FIR, it transpires that there is allegation against the petitioner that he in connivance with Mohammad Mojibul Rehman and Bina Devi was indulged in human trafficking. The petitioner is said to be owner of the girls’ hostel and he was also found interacting with Mohammad Mojibul Rehman, which has also come in paras 83 and 84 of the case diary. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and, as such, his prayer for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected. 6.
