Learned advocate, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner after being granted anticipatory bail fled away from the process of law for about one year seven months resulting in cancellation of his interim bail. Thereafter, the petitioner surrendered and prays for bail. Be that as it may, it has been pointed out that the petitioner approached the Hon’ble Supreme Court praying 2 for bail which has been refused in the month of December, 2025. Considering the events which have been followed in close proximity of time, I direct the learned trial court to complete the seizure list witnesses within a period of 60 days after the evidence of P.W.1 is over. Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. The petitioner would approach this court after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 628 of 2026 is dismissed.
