The case of the prosecution is that the de facto complainant’s minor son was assaulted by a group of persons near Ellaiyamman Temple, Cheyyur, and the petitioner has been arrayed as one of the accused. Hence, the case. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is the fourth accused and that the victim belongs to a Scheduled Caste. 4. In view of the above submissions, the petition is not maintainable.
