Today, when the matter is taken up, the Registry placed an Office Note stating that the appellant had already preferred Crl.A. No.2456 of 2018, questioning the very same judgment of conviction and sentence, dated 20.04.2016 passed in POCSOA Sessions Case No.101 of 2015, by engaging a private counsel. It is further stated that the said Criminal Appeal was heard by the Special Division Bench and was dismissed by judgment dated 02.02.2026, thereby confirming the conviction and sentence imposed by the learned Special Judge. 3. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the present Criminal Appeal is hereby closed as no further orders are required to be passed.
