The grievance raised in the Petition is the inaction of the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA)-Respondent No. 1, in directing Respondent No. 4 to demolish certain structures constructed on land under Survey Nos. 101/23(P), 101/20(P), 101/18(P), 101/16(P), 101/14(P), 101/12(P), 101/10(P), 101/1(P) and 151/13(P) of Village Agonda, Canacona Taluka, Goa. 2. Mr. Arolkar, learned Additional Government Advocate 21st September, 2026 49 WP 514 2025 appearing for the GCZMA, submits that the pleadings are complete before the GCZMA and the matter is presently being heard. He further submits that, apart from the complaint of the Petitioner, Respondent No. 4 has applied for fresh permissions qua the structures which are the subject matter of the Petition, and the application is also being heard along with the Petitioner's complaint. 3. It is also stated by Mr. Arolkar that during the pendency of the complaint before the GCZMA, Respondent No. 4 has removed the structures complained of in the said property and no commercial operations are presently being undertaken. 4. This position is disputed by the Petitioner. 5. Mr. Arolkar submits, on instructions, that the Petitioner's complaint and the application seeking fresh permissions filed by Respondent No. 4 would be disposed of within a period of two months from today. 6. We accept this statement, without entering into the merits of the contentions raised in the Petition or the defences taken by Respondent No. 5, which are both kept open for the GCZMA to decide upon. We direct that the complaint of the Petitioner and the application for fresh permissions of Respondent No. 4 be disposed 21st September, 2026 49 WP 514 2025 of by the GCZMA by 30.11.2026. 7.
