JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Notice to respondent No.4 is not necessary for the following reasons: 2. The grievance of the petitioners is that despite several representations and applications being given to the respondent - Tahsildar, Ramanagara Taluk as found at Annexure-F series and Annexure-G, to correct the extent of land in the RTC in Sy.No.84 of Bidadi Hobli, Ramanagara Taluk as 1 acre 10 guntas, no action has been taken by the respondent- Tahsildar. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits on instructions that in Sy.No.84 there are many kathedars and there is a vast difference between the extent of land as shown in the Akarband when compared to the RTCs and therefore it has become difficult for the Tahsildar to proceed. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:16751 WP No. 605 of 2026 4. Having regard to the facts narrated herein above, this Court is of the considered opinion that the Tahsildar cannot keep quiet receiving the applications. He has to act in accordance with law. If there is any dispute between the neighboring landowners, then notices have to be issued to all concerned and action shall be taken in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly writ petition stands disposed of. Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
