The matter comes up on an applications no.1/2026 filed by the respondents wherein, it is stated that the civil appeals involving identical controversy challenged by the petitioners have been dismissed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide order dated 24.02.2026 and based thereupon, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court has, vide its order dated 29.04.2026, already dismissed D.B. Civil Writ Petition No.12997/2022: Union of India Vs. Jairam Luniwal involving identical controversy.
