For the respondent: Mr. S.K.Srivastav, Senior Advocate with Mr. Anuj Gupta and Hitanshu Jain, Advocates Romesh Verma, Judge(oral) The present application has been filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time to enable the Arbitral Tribunal to make and publish the Arbitral Award after expiry of its mandate.
2. It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the tribunal conducted continuous hearings and details whereof have been mentioned in para 4 of the petition.
3. The mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 26.09.2025, in terms of order passed by this Court 27.09.2024. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

4. It has been submitted that the delay in completion of the proceedings is bonafide and not attributable to the parties. Therefore, it has been prayed that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal as expired on 26.09.2025 may be further extended from 26th September, 2025 to 25th September, 2026 to enable the Tribunal to make and publish the award.
5. In view of the no objection by learned counsel for the respondent, prayer as made in the application is accepted and the time is extended to enable the Tribunal to make and publish the Arbitral Award on or before 25th September 2026. Petition stands disposed off. (Romesh Verma)
