JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER 15.07.2026 The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the termination of the petitioner’s appointment as the Booth Level Officer and the appointment of the respondent No.5 as the Booth Level Officer. 2. Ms. M Bhattacharjee, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 and 2 submits that the Booth Level Officers were appointed at that point of time on account of updation of the NRC and the process of updation of the NRC is no longer there and as such no effective directions can be passed in the present writ proceedings. 3. This Court has also taken note of that at present no steps have been taken for any updation of the NRC and as such, it is the opinion of this Court no Page No.# 3/3 effective writ can be passed in the instant writ proceedings. 4.
